Sort of but not quite. He veers from his Literature version. But for what it's worth, Penny Dreadful also has Dorian Gray, an older VanHelsing, and Henry Jekyll in the third season. So they just went to classic lit town and took all the public domain monsters.

I am rambling.

Anne's my favorite pirate. So I'm pleased to see her here! The Age of Sail Badass and the Victorian Doctor can just sit together and marvel at the advanced wonders of hot and cold running water.
